Mostly June plot SOTP, because why not!
Me: Eh. Mostly okay, I guess? Feeling weirdly scattered with a few things going on IRL, but am largely okay, so that's good.
Rosie: She's been very quiet recently, but not in a way that's bad! Caleb and Neil's breakup had the added effect of making both Neil and Rosie realize they'd been a little out of touch with one another, so I feel like they've been trying to rectify that and hang out more. Since her own shakeup with Sabrina a few months ago, things have been...weird but settled, is my thought, but it's definitely worth a thread to actually test that out and see where they are. I still want to canon update her at some point, but once again I've put that off (thanks, procrastination). Maybe I'll actually get to it this summer, who knows. XD
Before June plot kicks off (because the timing works and also I...kind of need NPCs to make it feasible), I'm planning to do a graduation week/senior awards type thing EP for her, mainly because I have both a mean idea I've been kicking around and a thought as to how she can get the sweet sweet vengeance on the Petros High rumor mill she really deserves to have before she goes off to Barton in the fall. Given the school calendar and the cursory searching I did on when Asbury Park High School does their graduation, I feel like that'll happen, like, a week before June plot, which might be too soon before plot kicks off to get good traction, but...hopefully not?
During plot, I think she'll mostly stick with her people and try to keep out of trouble (or try to keep them out of trouble, because we know the kinds of people she runs with), but I also have this thought of her being, like...very practical and competent while helping out at some kind of mutual aid station if one gets set up? I don't know, just let her come sort food donations or something, she's a good kid.
Darlington: I feel like I've fallen down a lot on some of Danny's stuff recently, since apping and debuting Harrow took up just so much space in my head for so long, and I feel really bad about that! He's not in danger of going away, but I think I really want to refocus on him over the next few months--more pregnancy plot stuff with Alex (and the people close to them who know about it, obviously), more hanging out with his new BFF Palamedes (and meeting Cam, which I still cannot wait for it'll be so good), possibly him starting to think more about the direction of his relationship with Alex now that they're having a kid together...I just need more Danny, all the time.
For June plot, I really want to do something with him (and Pal and Cam, most likely) taking advantage of the fact the Museums of Darrow are basically going to be abandoned, and thus trying to break into the always-closed Darrow History exhibit to finally get some answers about this place. It will, obviously, not work--he may end up breaking something as a way of putting an end to the attempt (for now)--but I'm hoping it'll generate future plot for him later on. It could just be a ridiculous idea all around, though, so.
Harrow: FINALLY, SHE IS HERE. I am still wildly uncertain I have her voice down well enough half the time, but I'm also having a blast with the various strands of her debut and can't wait to get her out into the city. I need to update the wiki, but I think Ruth and I are both operating under the principle that she effectively never moved into the apartment she was assigned (although she did probably raid it for, like, all the sheets and dishes and stuff because why not if it was all given to her anyway) and has been staying with Gideon since day one. She absolutely thinks Darrow is ridiculous, especially since it's pre-Resurrection and necromancy is not a thing here and that's weird, and I love how much she just hates and is confused by everything already.
I have the feeling that Gideon's going to do everything she can to keep Harrow inside for the majority of June plot, but it might also be an interesting vehicle to get her more involved in figuring out the city at large. Since she's so new, my plans for her are really up in the air and almost nonexistent, so we'll see what happens and where she might be able to fit best.
